Payesh

Ingredients


Gobindo Bhog Rice - 200 gms
Full cream Milk – 1 litre
Full cream Milk - 1 cup
Khoya – 250 gms
Sugar - 300 gms
Cashew nuts - 50 gms
Raisins - 50 gms
Cardomom - 3
Bay leaf - 3

Steps:

1. Soak Khoya in 1 cup of Milk.

2. Soak Raisins in a cup of Water.

3. Chop Cashew nuts into small pieces.

4. Wash the Rice and put it in 1 litre Milk.

6. Cook the Rice in Milk over low heat.

7. After the Rice gets boiled , add Sugar.

8. Stir the mixture till the Sugar dissolves and gets mixed evenly.

9. Now add the Khoya and stir well.

10. Now add Cardomom, Cashew nuts, Raisins and Bay leaf and boil for 5 minutes.

11. After the Payesh cools, keep in refrigerator and serve chilled
